The Epistemic Benefits of Diversifying the Philosophy of Religion

There have been recent calls to expand contemporary analytic philosophy of religion beyond the oft implicitly assumed Christian tradition. Instead exploring moral reasons discipline, I argue that there are strong epistemic favour diversifying religion. Increasing diversity is likely increase disagreement, and benefits be gained from existence disagreement. such considerations quite clearly apply religion, as diversify field. conclude by offering a number practical steps we can take towards achieving this end which relatively easy implement.
